Sea Five takes the term “beach house” to a whole other level. This boutique hotel set in the quite hills of Camps Bay is a mere 300m walk from the world-renowned Camps Bay beach as well the the strip – a collection of popular restaurants and bars offering some of the best local cuisine and cocktails to match.
Guests will find themselves transported to the Mediterranean coastline as they move through the three levels of this hotel. While there may be captivating views of the ocean out the front windows, the back garden is a feast for green eyes.
The aromas of mandolin and lemon trees, lavender and other herbs will welcome guests lucky enough to take a walk around the garden. A popular feature in this tranquil space is also the swimming pool and fully-stocked bar.
True to its beach house roots, the Sea Five makes wonderful use of white décor with traditional blue hues coming to the forefront, mirroring the azure ocean view that guests can enjoy from their private terraces
Accommodation
True to boutique hotel form, especially from the likes of luxury Cape Town accommodation, each of the seven en-suite rooms has been tailored to perfection and receive the highest attention from staff.
All rooms have been designed by interior designers Francois Du Plessis and Nicolo Stortiglione Pudel. Guests can look forward to being lulled by the ocean while lying between 100% Italian linen.
Guests can choose from the garden double room which boasts its own private garden or the mountain suites which share the same mod cons as the rest of the rooms but reveals gorgeous mountain views from behind the lavish fabric curtains.
The Ocean suites are a celebration of space and light and feature their own private terrace that looks out over the ocean. While the view from the penthouse suite might be the same, you’ll have 4 different terraces from which to view it from.
The penthouse suite really does place guests in the lap of luxury with its spa bath, private bar, dining room and lounge and three beds – perfect for the whole family. And in the unlikely event that the view gets tiresome, you can always enjoy the 52-inch flat screen television
Facilities
The Sea Five Boutique Hotel features a beautiful garden with swimming pool and bar as well as a dining area where guests can enjoy true fine dining the likes of crayfish with fresh organic herbs.
All the rooms also have wireless internet and a concierge. Transfers are available for guests.
Child Policy
Children 8 years and older are welcome unless the whole hotel is booked by the same group, then all ages are welcome.

When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
