About Us

About The Owner

My family moved from Zimbabwe to South Africa when I was 10 years old. We’d travel extensively around the country, mostly on wonderful road trips with the whole family, dog and sometimes cockatiel crammed into the car! After studying Travel & Tourism at college, I began working for a string of incredible game lodges located in Kruger’s concessions. I then immigrated to the UK, joining a specialist South Africa tour operator and regularly returning to inspect new hotels and source new itineraries. I now have a young family who pride themselves in being half-South African and together, we visit the country at least once a year.

In short, I know my beloved South Africa intimately. And that allows Best of South Africa Travel to meticulously create the perfect holiday for each client. Not just the hotel, car and flight elements, but those extra details which make all the difference; the best rooms at each hotel; the best activities for honeymooners or for kids; the game parks offering the most reliable cheetah or wild dog-spotting, or where to find finest local fizz or the Franschhoek valley’s very best sunset.

South Africa is a complicated destination to book on your own and rarely a package bought off the shelf will be right for you. Everything we do is tailor-made to ensure you have the perfect holiday designed exclusively for you.

I look forward to speaking to you!
