About
Seeking a private Cape Town home with five-star facilities? You can stop looking. Located beachside in chichi Camps Bay, Blue Views’ sprawling houses and apartments come supported by a discreet, full-time army of concierges, gardeners and cleaners. There are spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Twelve Apostles mountains behind, while the pale-hued blend of natural and modernist design – a rough marble unit here; a contemporary-art print there – has earned magazine spreads
Accommodation
Open-plan yet snug and cosy, attractive Studio 2 includes its own courtyard: a dinky square in which to read or snooze beside a plant-and-pebble garden. Back inside is a king-size bed, a sofa and book-dotted table, a TV and stereo, wi-fi and a kitchenette. The bathroom pleases feet with underfloor heating and off-street parking is available.
Facilities
The property is cleaned daily between Monday and Saturday, with Sunday servicing on request. Blue Views main office is easily accessed for any enquiries, plus there’s 24/7 security. Hire a chef if you desire, and/or order some pre-arrival shopping. Airport transfers can be arranged.
Activities
Bakoven’s little beach is within champagne cork-popping distance, with the Atlantic surf romantically audible as you drift off to sleep. Camps Bay’s far bigger stretch of sand is five minutes’ walk away, as are its bustling restaurants, shops and sidewalk coffee bars. Cape Town’s city centre and the V&A Waterfront are a ten-minute drive, with Table Mountain and the Winelands making easy day-trips.
Child Policy
Children of all ages are welcome. An extra cot can be accommodated but families would be better off booking one of the larger units. Babysitting is available on request.
The Best of South Africa Travel map displays the locations of the destinations and accommodation that we have selected and visited; for each item, hovering over or clicking the marker will display a short summary and photo of that place or hotel, and hotel pricing. Follow the links in the info box to the full page listing which has much more information.
Note that the online map offers both a satellite view (click satellite in the top right) and, for some locations, a street level view (Drag the person in the top left onto the map). These let you explore the country; and when you wish to explore in person, or if you have any questions about the places you see, give our staff a call, or request a quote. Our staff regularly visit the places and accommodation that we feature.
When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
