Ideal for those looking for luxury self-catering in Cape Town, South Beach is located in the fashionable seaside suburb of Camps Bay. A new offering from the group behind Blue Views, it’s a 19-suite block set within just 50m of the beachfront. Each serviced apartment is sea-facing and spacious, and backed up by a communal pool and daily breakfast. Deep white walls and exclusive artworks by contemporary South African painter and sculptor Lionel Smit add style points, as well as producing a palpable nod to Miami – as does the name itself.
Accommodation
On the ground floor, Pool Suites boast their own lounger-lined veranda and direct access to the pool. One storey up is the Superior Pool Suite, perfect for honeymooners, with a large patio and easy pool access. The second and third floors house Classic Suites complete with private balconies. Other options include the 1-bedroom luxury suite or penthouse pool suite.
Every apartment is huge, and every one is air-conditioned, has fully-equipped kitchens, Atlantic Ocean views and designer bathrooms with underfloor heating and tubs. High-speed wi-fi is available throughout.
Facilities
Suites are cleaned daily, with a concierge also on hand seven days a week in case you need help or local tips, plus 24/7 security. Breakfast is included, and fridges restocked daily. Guests can use the ground-floor gym for free, and borrow bikes & scooters. That’s if you can resist the pool, which is surrounded by a large sundeck and garden, or the heated roof-top pool with its own bar. Parking is also complimentary, but laundry and airport transfers cost extra.
Activities
Broad and beckoning, Camps Bay beach is five minutes’ walk away with the suburb’s bustling restaurants, shops and sidewalk coffee bars just as close. Cape Town’s city centre and the V&A Waterfront are a 20-minute drive, with Table Mountain even nearer.

When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
