A beautiful Cape Dutch homestead amidst a 24 acre estate, Laird’s Lodge offers relaxation and style for those wanting to explore the Garden Route. In a gorgeous setting between the beaches of Plettenberg and the Knysna estuary, this lodge offers tranquility and access to some of South Africa’s most enchanting locations.
Accommodation
There are 16 rooms, each with their own private terrace and beautifully decorated en-suite bathrooms. All are decorated with classic neutral tones and textiles which give a feeling of elegance and warmth. Chose from standard, deluxe and luxury rooms. Flatscreen TVs in every room, with many offering views over the manicured lawns and beyond.
Activities
Located just 8km from the un-spoilt beaches of Plettenberg Bay, guests are within easy reach of the coast or just 23km from Knysna with Robberg Nature Reserve, Tsisikamma National Park and Knysna Elephant Park close by.
Facilities
Choose to relax by one of the lodge’s four cosy fireplaces and sit and get lost in one of the hundreds of books from the lodge’s very own well stocked library. While away the hours on this Cape Dutch estate on one of their several outside terraces and just take in the scenery. There is also a lovely eco pool with comfy sun loungers.
Breakfasts are served in the courtyard and consist of freshly baked pastries, homemade jams, fresh fruit and cooked delights. Dine in the lodge restaurant - which specialises in seafood and game and choose a wine from the rustic cellar. Retire to the cigar and brandy lounge to end your evening.

When you book a holiday with us we will provide full driving instructions for reaching your accommodation, where necessary; these can be used by yourself, or you could enjoy the luxury of a driver. Alternatively we will arrange private (car rather than coach) transfers for you; helicopter transfers are also possible for some destinations.
